What is a Home Lab?
We know—Home Lab isn’t your typical design studio name. But then again, we’re not your typical designers.
We chose the word lab because it reflects how we actually work: hands-on, collaborative, and always experimenting to find the right solution for your home. With backgrounds in real estate, interiors, and styling, we’ve seen firsthand what makes a home functional, beautiful, and truly livable. We've been trusted by clients to make calls on everything from paint colors to floor plans to fixtures—and we've learned that good design isn’t formulaic. It’s thoughtful, responsive, and a little bit creative science.
So think of the Home Lab as your behind-the-scenes team—part design studio, part problem-solvers, fully committed to helping you love where you live.

We saw a need for approachable, elevated design support—especially during moments when making a home design decisions can feel overwhelming. With backgrounds in design and real estate, we’ve walked through hundreds of homes, helped friends and clients make confident choices, and developed a passion for making spaces work beautifully in real life.
